Fully Automatic Upgraded Package

Overview
The almost always in stock fully automatic home hospital bed is the model our customer's select most often. It has all the must have features including head and foot electric elevating (no hand cranking required). A more comfortable upgraded mattress is also standard. Key Features
Key features include head elevation adjustment to an almost upright seventy degree angle that will make getting in out of the bed so much easier. You can also elevate the foot section of the bed, a feature that can be crucial for both user comfort and increased leg circulation.

Weightless Position
Everyone has their own ideal setting for what is called the stress relieving "weightless position" accomplished by raising the head and feet just the right amount. It is easily achieved with the fully automatic package's infinite fine adjustments.

Side Rails Included
Side safety rails are included in a choice of two lengths. Half size are the most popular because they'll hinder the user from rolling out a night, yet not be too much in the way when a still mobile user is getting in and out of bed.

Full size rails are available as well. Their use will make it unlikely that the end user can fall out of bed at night. Both types easily drop down to be completely out of the way or lock in place in the upright position.

Raise & Lower The Whole Bed
The mattress platform height from the floor is adjustable electronically from 15" to 23". (You'll need to add the mattress thickness to reach a total figure). This ability to change whole bed heights by motor is one of the most important features of our home hospital bed because you'll often find one height to be the easiest for the user to get into bed and another the best for getting out. This feature often makes things easier on a caregiver as well because there will often be a height from the floor that is best for assisting the bed’s user while putting less strain on that helper’s back.

The Bed is on Wheels
Our package includes wheels attached to each leg two of which are lockable to reduce unwanted movement. If you’re placing your bed on hardwood or tile we’re happy to provide rubber caster cups to further reduce chance of movement (if you want to almost completely avoid bed movement taking the wheels off and resting each metal leg in a rubber cup is the best solution)

Size of the Matterss
The mattress is 36"W x 80"L which is longer than a standard twin size by five inches. This may seem unnecessary but in fact because the bed effectively shrinks in size when you raise the head portion (pushing the user towards the foot of the bed) that extra length is very much needed for those over five feet tall. Nine Clouds stocks sheet sets and waterproof mattress covers that will properly fit this size of mattress should you not already have them.

The included mattress is an multi upgraded pressure relieving gliding foam model that is the best we have.

In Home Setup Included
In home setup is always included with all our hospital beds and local delivery (within 30km) is included at no charge. There is no need to worry about the narrowness of your home stairwells because our beds come in smaller sections that are only put together once in the room of your choice.

Save the HST
We have received a ruling from Revenue Canada that no HST need be charged if the end user can provide Nine Clouds Beds with a written note from their doctor as to its medical necessity. If you don’t have one available by delivery day we will charge the HST and happily refund it when you send us a copy.
