20 years of experience in the bedding industry has lead to a startling conclusion. The well known national brands make many comfortable mattresses but they are not necessarily the most reliable. I would say that warranty calls on the lesser known brands are  out numbered by those from the big brands about 10 to 1. In other words the quality local brands I have chosen to display at Nine Clouds beds have been ten times less likely to have a problem as the big guys. This seems counter intuitive particularly because the cost of a set from a know brand will typically be 15-25% higher for similar comfort layer build ups. It is almost like the national brands charge more because they know they will have repair them.
