Unfortunately the need for home hospital beds is on a steady rise as our population ages. Ontario hospitals are requiring patients to leave their care after a minimum stay and a personal home care bed can be just the answer.They facilitate raising and lowering of the head and foot as well as the sleep surface as a whole. Being able to adjust the height of the bed is a godsend for many a caregiver particularly those with back issues.
Most home car beds are 36″ wide by 80″ long which is slightly narrower somewhat longer than a standard twin size. When buying sheets look for packages called Twin Xl which is slightly larger (39″ x80″), they should work quite well for your new home care bed.
